At Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, we believe that every lesson is important & maximum attendance and punctuality are valuable life skills. Taking your child out of school during term time may harm your child’s academic progress.
The pupil’s parent MUST apply for any other types of term-time absence as far in advance as possible, by submitting a leave of absence request form. Please return completed form by email to RWBA Absence Line - abs@rwba.ascendlearningtrust.org.uk

The Academy will not authorise any holidays or time off during term time, unless that request is considered to be for ‘exceptional circumstances’. The Academy may agree up to 5 days holiday absence in exceptional circumstances with consideration being given to pupil’s attendance, attainment and public examinations.
